About this event
This free hands-on workshop is open to law enforcement, prosecutors, veterinarians, and rescue and sheltering organizations and will focus on dogfighting investigations and response, empowering participants to have the tools to identify, investigate, respond to, and effectively prosecute, dogfighting cases in their communities.
Attendees will work through a dogfighting case from start to finish, learning and practicing key skills in investigation, seizure, evidence documentation, testimony, disposition, sheltering, care, and pathway planning. In addition to learning how best to navigate the complexities of dogfighting-related cases, attendees will also establish connections with local and other resources to help foster community collaboration and create awareness to identify and prevent dogfighting.
